Welcome to the Shenley Village Cricket Club website
Based at the prestigious Shenley Cricket Centre we field five adult teams and seven junior teams playing a mixture of league and friendly cricket.
Our First XI is currently competing in Division Two of the Saracens Hertfordshire Cricket League - the highest level they have ever participated at - and our other Saturday league sides play in Divisions Six, Eleven and Thirteen of the same competition. The junior section is also thriving with our Under 10 side crowned county champions for the second consecutive year last season.
In 2011 we celebrated our 150th anniversary with two special matches - a visit of the MCC to Shenley and a trip to Lord's to take on the Cross Arrows. We also entered the Readers County Cup for the first time, reaching the quarter-finals and will look to build on that experience this year.
New members of all abilities are always encouraged and can contact us through the form on this site to to ask about the club.
Shenley Village C.C is an ECB focus club in Hertfordshire and has clubmark accreditation. Learn more about what this means here: http://www.clubmark.org.uk/
