A great finish to a wonderful season as Shenley won the Readers Herts Trophy final by 62 runs against a spirited Abbots Langley side. My thanks to Lloyd Willingham and all his players for their magnificent efforts, to Ray McLennan for scoring, John Smith for the photography, Alex Houghton for the regular Facebook updates and the Cricket Centre staff for looking after us so well. Also a big thanks to all our members and supporters who turned out in force yesterday to cheer on the Village. A great day that will live long in the memory.
