A funny game that didnt quite get going. Elstree lacked firepower and showed they will struggle on this performance but steady bowling by Shenley saw out the Elstree batsmen with each taking wickets in the 40 overs bowled.

In reply runs were hard to score but Bubs went on to hit the wining runs and score his first fifty of the season with Chris solid and backing up against all the Elstree bowlers offered up.

Moving to sixth place in the division and a reasonable performance that didnt push too many hard.
