great game. Won it with one ball to spare, in the dark.
Kieran and Mike kept the runs down and at 5 for 55 when they came off, we were right on top. But 100 runs laterwe were leaking runs and a runout, and a second spell from Kieran saw us wrap it up with 2 overs to spare, and it turned out to be a valuable two overs to gain.
At 19-2 off 8 overs we were looking for some consolidation when Ray and Gary put a 31 partnership together, then Prav and Ray added 21, but the Mike and Ray partnership was where we really dominated the game, and put us back to needing just 4 per over, which mike and Kieran did with a 48 partnership, and then Alex and Nick had to score 8 off the last 2 overs, but managed only 1 from the first 6 balls ! Alex then hit a 3, and then a wide suddenly saw us needing 3 off 5 balls, and we did it with 3 ! easy.
