Ali Lewis gave Shenley a good start with 60 and Richard Evans scored 90, including an 85 run 7-wicket partnership with Geoff Evans. Shenley finished on 229 after their 40 overs. Hemel got off to a good start but Shenley kept taking wickets at vital times. Dave Shelley and Jose Fedee were particularly impressive with the ball. Fedee and Morgan Stanley picked up 2 wickets and Lewis struck with three late wickets as Hemel hit out in the last few overs. Shenley won by 21 runs in their tightest game of the season.
