Shenley Village Cricket Club News story

Good morning All,

A few updates:

All Matt Kuhnemann's UK paperwork has been completed and he has just applied for his UK Visa in Australia. We hope to be welcoming him to the UK and to SVCC in early May. We do have an appeal though - we are looking for an automatic car, (as in NOT manual), for Matt from May 1st through late August. We can hire the vehicle if you want it back afterwards or we can buy it, but clearly a donation would be very much appreciated.

Secondly, the Club has purchased a defibrilator and has arranged for training thereon this Saturday morning, April 16th, at 11am - please see the attached. I would ask that as many people as possible, certainly all senior team captains, (or at least one representative from each senior team), and all junior team/match day managers make every effort to attend. There were two incidents that I am aware of in summer 2021 where two different Club defibrilators saved player's lives - please don't think that someone else will be there to save your, or someone you know's life! As an added bonus, the 1st XI are playing a game at home on Saturday, and you will all get to see the Club's NEW score box!

Thirdly, given the weather is set fair, the first senior outdoor nets are taking place at the Cricket Centre tonight - could you please do your best to get there if you can.

Very much looking forward to catching up with everyone over the summer,

With very best regards,

George.

PS: Thank you to all who have either already paid their subs in full, or who have advised they set up their standing orders. It really is important that everyone pays these as soon as possible as our first payment to the Cricket Centre is due the end of this month.
