Hope you are having a great weekend and enjoying the sunshine, if not the warmth.
Our groundsman Arthur is back, readying the Cricket Centre for the 2022 season. We will once again be running five senior teams on Saturdays and Sundays and nine junior teams, who this year are scheduled to play almost 90 league matches this summer, (and that without the summer league)!
Geoff Evans has worked really hard in securing our continued tenancy at the Cricket Centre for the next few years, whilst Ray McLennan and I have almost completed the overseas signing of Australia A, Sheffield Shield and Big Bash player Matt Kuhnemann, (unfortunately, not the best kept secret in the Club this winter). We will also be doing some additional work to both grounds and our net facilities, so it now it is time to think about how we are going to pay for all this in 2022! As an FYI, for those who could not make the Club's recent AGM, we are budgeted to lose in the region of £3,000 to £5,000 this year, which we can just about cover, provided all membership fees are received in a timely manner.
So with this in mind, could I please ask all members to pay the following subscriptions for 2022 as soon as possible:
Adults, (aged 15 or older as at January 1st, 2022, excluding students in full time education) - £250.00
Students in full time education - £95
Colts, (Under 8 through U14) - £190
Social Membership - £40
Adult membership includes one number for the Club’s monthly Give & Win draw, (June 22 to May 23). Adults may also pay their subscriptions in 5 equal instalments of £50 each, from May 1st through September 1st 2022 inclusive.
Colt membership includes all summer nets and matches, but excludes easter/summer camps. Colt membership can also be paid in four equal instalments of £47.50 each, from May 1st through August 1st inclusive.
Where adults/colts chose to pay by standing order, please do set these up for the 1st of each month and reply to this email advising you are paying by standing order once such has been set up.
