Shenley Village U13's comfortably won their 3rd round ECB National Club Competition tie against Mildenhall by 6 wickets at the Cricket Centre yesterday. Details can be found on the Club's homepage in the latest results section.
The team now go on to play the winner of the tie between Royal Ascot CC, (from Berkshire) and Cublington CC, (Buckinghamshire), at 10:30am on Thursday, August 3rd, at St Albans School/Old Albanians CC in the Regional semi-final. If they win that, they will then play the winner of Eastcote CC, (Middlesex) and Linton Park CC, (Kent), at 2pm, that same August 3rd afternoon in the Regional Final. The four regional winners then progress to National Final's Day at Rugby on August 15th.
It is a working day, but any support would be truly welcome, especially as a number of the U13 parents have changed holiday plans as part of their commitment to SVCC and this very talented U13 team so their boys can play in the regional finals of the ECB's National U13 tournament on Thursday, August 3rd.
