Senior Training Starts!

We are pleased to announce that senior training will commence on both Tuesday and Thursday evenings 6pm to 8pm with immediate effect. This is available to all members who play or are eligible to play senior cricket.

The sessions will be overseen by Kris Nissen but numbers will be restricted due to the ECB guidelines relating to Covid19. Currently this means a maximum of 6 persons per net lane and using adjacent lanes is not permitted.

Weather permitting the plan is to use 2 lanes of the net facilities plus a grass strip with the mobile batting cage. Because of the restriction on numbers you will need to text Kris in advance if you want to take part in a session. If you just turn up on the night without booking we will try to accommodate you but cannot guarantee this if we already have the maximum permitted numbers.

DO NOT ATTEND IF YOU OR ANYONE IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD DISPLAYS SYMPTOMS OR YOUR HOUSEHOLD IS CURRENTLY IN ISOLATION.

ADHERE TO SOCIAL DISTANCING GUIDELINES AT ALL TIMES

Please read the following User Checklist carefully.

USER CHECKLIST

  • Personal hygiene measures should be carried out at home before and after use of the facility.
  • Bring your own hand sanitiser where possible. If this isn’t possible wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds before and after visiting the club.
  • Travel together as a household.
  • Avoid public transport.
  • Try not to arrive too early, aim to arrive at the start time to help with social distancing.
  • On arrival please park in the main car park and not in the area between the nets and the clubhouse
  • Bring your own playing/training equipment including balls. Do not share balls when bowling unless you are from the same household.
  • Bring your own filled drinking bottles.
  • Avoid touching as much as possible whilst on club premises and use cleaning stations whenever available.
  • Do not overstay your allocated time slot. You should be clear of the area by the time the next users arrive. Do not stay to socialise.
  • Do not leave private property behind and clear any litter.
  • No spitting. No saliva or sweat should come into contact with the ball at any time.
  • Please ensure you minimise the risk of injury (wear helmets, pads etc).
  • Report any infection of your household following use of the facility to allow effective contact tracing and to limit the spread of the virus.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation. Apologies for the strict guidelines which are necessary at the moment but these will be  reviewed regularly and adapted in accordance with any future changes of Government or ECB policy.
