The weather is finally improving and the start of the cricket season is only 7 weeks away!
This year, the ECB has mandated that ALL players, senior and junior, must be registered on the ECB's scoring and statistics app, Play Cricket.
Play-Cricket is the online home of recreational cricket. It is there to help those running and administering cricket in clubs, leagues, competitions and communities. It has been designed and tested alongside league administrators and is the largest source of fixture information and player statistics in the recreational game. It has a comprehensive range of free tools that make tracking your statistics very easy and great fun.
Club secretary, Chris Stanley, has done an amazing job over the last couple of weeks to get all members, young and old re-registered on both the Saracens senior and junior league databases and on Play Cricket. The latter will have led to the ECB sending out an automatic email requesting you to accept your or your child’s registration. If you have not seen such an email, please check your junk folders. But most importantly, please accept the ECB’s authorisation request, as failure to do so will mean you are not registered to play in league games for the Club, leading to points deductions or fines for the Club.
