SVCC Adult player awards 2024
We have revived the Adult player awards this year after several years when they had lapsed.
Players from each team squad, who played at least 4 games in the 2024 season, had a vote for the Batter, Bowler, and Fielder of the year for their team, taking into account the averages as well as other aspects like attitude and commitment.
So, these are special winners.
For the time being they can bask in the glory, the trophies will be presented at The Club’s Dinner Dance on Friday 4th April 2025.
1st XI

3rd XI

In addition, there is a further award for the ‘outstanding performance’ of 2024. This award is called The Rahul Gajjar trophy, made in the memory of Rahul Gajjar who was a legend in our Club, beloved by so many, who died too young in 2022. Rahul hit 178 back in 2006 for our Club in a brilliant innings and he and his family, who have provided the trophy, wanted to shine a light on outstanding performances.
They are several contenders and a group of judges will be assessing the merits of each and deciding a winner. The Winner will be announced at The Dinner Dance.
