Shenley Village Cricket Club

Dear All,

A Shenley Village XI will once again be taking on the famous MCC - the fixture will be played on the main ground at Shenley on Wednesday, 19th August.   The match will start at 11.30 and we would estimate the finish to be sometime around 6.30pm.

All are very welcome to come along and enjoy the day's cricket and it would be great to see as many of you there as is possible.   Hopefully the weather will be glorious and perfect for a picnic (though please clear away any litter afterwards).  The Cricket Centre bar will be open all day.   

On another note, our 1st Xi have a Herts Trophy semi-final this coming Sunday, August 16th.   This is an away tie at Leverstock Green (1pm start).   Again, supporters would be most welcome and hugely appreciated....post code to Leverstock Green's ground for Sat Navs is HP3 8LH.
