Dear Members and followers,
Once again your club has entered the ECB u19 T20 competition, one of 16 Herts clubs involved.
Our first game is at Home on the main ground this Monday 11th July, with a 6pm start v Radlett and the bar will be open so bring a few friends. The weather is looking good for the evening. There will hopefully be a notice in this weekends Borehamwood Times, promoting this local Derby, and as an incentive to build the crowd there will be £5 on offer for every 6 caught in the crowd, and by each Shenley player who hits a six. So pick your spectator spot on the boundary carefully !
Our Shenley Sharks will be in coloured clothing, playing with a pink ball, and hope to entertain and win this the first of 6 games over the next 6 weeks. The 2nd game is the following Monday, also at Shenley v Rickmansworth.
We hope to add some music to the games if we can find appropriate volunteers, but the main event will be the cricket from many of our future and present stars, with an emphasis on keeping teenagers involved with and enjoying the game with their peers.
