Hello Clubmates
I hope you are wintering well. Before you settle down for the drunken stupor of Christmas we just wanted to let you know that Shenley Village Cricket Club’s AGM will be held at Shenley Cricket Centre on Friday 13th Jan 2017 starting at 7pm.
The Committee encourages you to attend as it gives you a chance to influence several key decisions on how the Club is run, and provides an interesting overview of the Club’s finances and the opportunities and challenges we face in times ahead. Not to mention a mid-Winter beer and catch up with some mates.
There are several points of interest due to be discussed and decided upon, including a key proposal on subscriptions.
Please find attached the agenda for the meeting. The minutes from the 2016 AGM can be found on the Club website.
There are nominations for each of the Club Officer positions but any member is welcome to put themself forward for any of the roles. Please advise Chris Stanley if you wish to be nominated.
If you want to help the Club but do not want to commit to an Officer position there is scope to help with specific tasks or projects, so please call Geoff Evans on 07505 102152 to discuss.
