Happy New Year.
I am emailing with details of Shenley Village CC’s annual Dinner Dance and with the hope you will be able to come and support our Club.
We have a great night lined up with good food, dancing and friendly company.
No speeches or awards just loads of fun including quiz, raffle, heads and tails, and dancefloor antics.
Date: Friday 17th March, 2017.
Time: Doors open at 7pm. Meal starts at 7.45pm. Finish at midnight
Venue: Shenley Cricket Centre
Food: 3 course dinner served to you at the table, coffee & chocolates, quarter bottle of wine.
Starter = Smoked Scottish Salmon Mousse, or Caramelised red onion & goat's cheese tartlet
Main = Lamb rump in red wine jus, dauphinoise potatoes, and veg, or chargrilled vegetarian stack (incl mushroom, tomato, courgette, aubergine, and pepper)
Dessert = Profiteroles, or cheese and biscuits
Coffee and chocolates
As you can see there is a vegetarian alternative for starter and main course, please let me know if you want the vegetarian choice.
Price: £35 per person
Dress code: It’s a chance for you to impress colleagues with how smart you can look. Suits and ties please but Dinner suits are very welcome, and as it is St Patrick's Day a tinge of green will be admired.
Payment: Please pay by either bank transfer to Shenley Village CC account (Acc number 60390763, Sort code 204734) using your surname as reference. Or by cheque payable to SVCC and posted to me (20 Russet Drive, Shenley, Herts, WD7 9RH)
We are also running a ‘Big number board’ on the evening with 3 big cash prizes. £2.50 buys a number on the board. Just include in your overall payment and let me know the number(s) between 1 and 150 that you would like.
If you have a raffle prize you would like to donate it would be very welcome.
