In connection with our fund-raising efforts centred around the Dinner Dance on 17th March 2023 we are auctioning two weeks in a luxury villa with its own pool in the south of France. Ideal for a family holiday, or a break with friends. The details are attached.

The closing deadline for bids is the evening of Fri 17th March. As an added incentive to attend the Dinner Dance the leading bid amount will be revealed at the start of the evening giving those present a chance to top the bid during the evening.
I do hope you will bid for the villa, it is in a beautiful region of France, offering a great mix of activities and pure relaxation.

Date: Friday 17th March, 2023.
Time: Doors open at 7pm. Meal starts at 7.30pm. Finish at midnight
Venue: Porters Park Golf Club, Radlett.
Food: 3 course dinner served to you at the table.
You can choose from the following, please advise your choice when booking tickets;
Starter
1) Chicken liver parfait with melba toast
2) Creamed forest mushrooms with herbed croutons and smoked bacon (or you can have this without bacon)
3) Smoked mackerel & salmon fishcake with dill cream
4) Roast vegetable teriyaki with rice noodles
Main
1) Salmon en croute with watercress sauce
2) Chicken breast with cream cheese and herb stuffing wrapped with maple cured bacon
3) Vegetable & feta wellington with a port and stilton sauce
All main course are served with seasonal vegetables and potato dauphinoise
Dessert
1) Sticky toffee pudding
2) Fresh fruit salad & ice cream
3) Cheese & biscuits
Followed by coffee and chocolates

Price: £40 per person
Drink: There is a bar, where you can also buy wine for your table.
Dress code: It’s a chance for you to impress colleagues with how smart you can look. Suits and ties please but Dinner suits are very welcome, and as it is St Patrick's Day a tinge of green will be admired.
Payment: Please pay by bank transfer to Shenley Village CC (Acc number 60390763, Sort code 204734 ) using your ‘surname and DD’ as reference.
We are also running a ‘Big number board’ on the evening with 3 big cash prizes. £2.50 buys a number on the board. Just include in your overall payment and let me know the number(s) between 1 and 150 that you would like.
