If you love the game of cricket and want to be involved but not necessarily play then umpiring is a wonderful substitute. There is a course on Sunday 14th of April at the Hatfield sports village being run by the Herts Association of Cricket officials aimed at newly qualified umpires who want to upgrade their knowledge. If you want more details of this or indeed how to start lower down the ladder, please let me know because the club would be very keen to support your interest.
