Helping Old Albanians to publicise their event Fri 28th June

24 May 2024

Dear Chairs and fellow cricket enthusiasts

I'm sure most of you are aware by now, but if not, Old Albanian Cricket Club are playing against the legendary Lashings World XI on Friday June 28th at their home ground of Woollams in St Albans.

It has been confirmed that the likes of Sir Curtly Ambrose, Courtney Walsh, Saqlain Mushtaq, Anya Shrubsole and many more names will be playing in the match against an OACC XI (good luck to them, they will need it).

We would be very appreciative of you all if you wouldn't mind forwarding on or messaging your various squads and parents etc with the details of this event as we believe it will be an extremely popular day. For the match itself, the gates open at 2.30 for a 4pm start. There is a food court arranged and the bars will be open. It is £5 advance ticket and £7 on the gate itself, there is parking available which is a £7.50 per car charge. All this can be found on the following link:

We also have a marquee for 400 hospitality seats, there are still some available for companies at £1050 for a table of 10 including a welcome drink, some table wine, a three course meal and entertainment in the marquee prior to the game. This will be open from 11.30am for a 12noon sit down. We are also selling some single seats at £105 per head on the same link as above if this is of interest.

We would very much appreciate you sending this message on to allow all those interested in cricket to come along either for the hospitality or for the evening game for entertainment.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us on this email address, or Lashings@oacricket.co.uk, or Simon.Bates@s2mprofits.co.uk for more details or sponsorship of the event.

Many thanks and we look forward to welcoming as many of you as would like to visit

Kindest regards

OACC
