This is a gentle nudge (there will be stiffer shoves later!) to book your tickets for the Shenley Village Cricket Club Dinner Dance on Fri 17th April 2026. It will be a fun night, with lots going on, good food, and a chance to see lots of friendly faces.
Here are the details
Date: Friday 17th April, 2026.
Time: Doors open at 7pm. Meal starts at 7.45pm. Finish at midnight
Venue: Porters Park Golf Club, Radlett.
Food: 3 course dinner served to you at the table, plus coffee & chocolates.
You can choose from the following, please advise your choice when booking ticket;
Starters
1) Smoked Haddock Pearls with Butter Sauce
2) Wild Boar and Plum Pate served with Melba Toast and Apple Chutney
3) Potato and Truffle Gratin with Stilton Cream (v)
4) Falafel and Hummus with toasted sourdough (ve)
Mains
1) Chicken Wellington with a Red Wine Jus
2) Baked Sea Bass in a White Wine Sauce
3) Vegetable Wellington (v)
4) Roasted Vegetable stuffed Aubergine with a Madeira Jus (ve)
Desserts
1) Sticky Toffee Pudding with Ice Cream
2) Fresh Fruit Salad
3) Cheese and Biscuits
4) Tiramisu
5) Chocolate Brownie (ve)
Price: £50 per person
Dress code: It’s a chance for you to impress colleagues with how smart you can look. Jacket and tie please but Dinner suits are very welcome.
Payment: Please pay by bank transfer to Shenley Village CC account (Acc number 60390763, Sort code 204734 ) using your ‘surname and DD’ as reference.
Let me know if you are mustering a group who want to be seated on the same table. Tables are typically for 10. But please be quick to confirm as we have limited capacity in the room.
We are also running a ‘Lucky number board’ on the evening with 3 big cash prizes. £2.50 buys a number on the board. Just include in your overall payment and let me know the number(s) between 1 and 200 that you would like.
